This is a pictures of Abram Meadows, AKA Arizona Charlie, the hero in the first story of my
first book, “Palace Poker.” Arizona Charlie was a striking looking man of his time.
He was a big man for those days at six feet six inches tall and weighed over two hundred and fifty pounds.

Above is a picture of the Hotel in Mayer, Arizona, where I spent many nights while Rudy and Kenny partied.








This is a picture of the Bordello in Mayer, Arizona, which is now a boarding house.
The sporting ladies stood on the top deck waving to potential patrons that rode by.










Above is a picture of the Dance Hall, Saloon and General Store in Mayer, Arizona.










This is a picture of the Wetherford Hotel in Flagstaff, Arizona.
It was the setting for the murder in the second story of my first book.
This picture was taken by my good friend Dino Farfante.








This is a picture of Granite Dells that was taken in the 1950’s.
The Dells is one of the settings that come into play in the second story of AZ Tales Vol 2, which will be released in 2008 on CD.









Again another picture of Granite Dells which is located about ten miles north of
downtown Prescott, Arizona on State Route 89.

My buds were Paul Lutes, #82; Billy Hazel, #52 and Carlos Ramirez, #80.

This is another picture of my two boys and I taken at the Old Sheep Bridge on the Verde River.
I still have that old hat.









This is a picture of Uncle Pat Crerand take as he was coming out of the reeds from the hot springs
just below the Old Sheep Bridge.















My two boys Danny & Tommy standing next to the old bath tub.
The hot water flows from the rocks into the tub and then overflows into the river.
The water that flows from the spring flows year round and is always right at 120 degrees.
